“We couldn’t have done it without you!” RJUHSD Thanks Voters for Supporting and Approving ‘Measure J’ The election is over, the votes have been counted; and we at the Roseville Joint Union High School District (RJUHSD) thank regional voters for overwhelmingly passing “Measure J” in the November election. “Measure J,” is a school bond measure that will raise $79 million dollars for much-needed new school construction and existing school building renovation. The funds generated as a result Measure J’s approval will permit our district to receive valuable California state matching funds. These funds coupled with developer fees, will allow RJUHSD to modernize and renovate the four existing, comprehensive high schools, build a new high school, and upgrade safety systems and technology throughout the district. Ultimately, the approval of Measure J (along with additional state matching and developer funds) will help us to address our rapidly expanding student enrollment and relieve potential school/classroom overcrowding. The simple truth is, we couldn’t have done it without you! We believe that the endorsement and support of elected officials, district staff and students, political parties, regional businesses and corporations, community organizations, and active and concerned parents, volunteers and residents, was the primary reason why this bond measure passed. We thank all involved for their hard work and advocacy. |
